In Show & 1 Best Puppy In Specialty Show. In the adult

please to say that Oliver
is now on 8 points. He was BB over a lovely Special at the
first show under Morley Thornton, and WD and BO also over a
Special under Denise Cornelssen at the second show....

15th 2009.... We received this darling photo from Judi Byrne
today of Olivia's (BPISS BPIS Ch. Highledge Wild Irish Rose)
litter. Born on April 3rd, 2009, they are pictured at 12
days old. We are so excited about this breeding, and
look forward to watching them grow. This litter is co-bred
by Lyricisle and
Highledge. Thanks Judi for always keeping us up to date.

She is shown winning Best of Winners for a nice 5 point win under
respected collie breeder Dorothy Welch. She went on to win
Best Puppy In Group.

13th, 14th & 15th 2009......We
received a phone call from Bettijane Flanagan to let us know that
her Bailey
daughter Lucy, (Fairfax Lucinda) was Best of Breed, Group
2nd, Best Puppy In Group & Best Puppy In Show (5pts) on
Friday at the Argus Kennel Club Shows. On Saturday she was Best of
Breed, Group 3rd & Best Puppy In Group. (5pts) On
Sunday she picked up 4 more points and a Best Puppy In Group to
finish. Pretty nice for a puppy who is 6 months and 5 days
old. We are so incredibly proud of what Bailey
is producing and wish Bettijane continued success with this
outstanding puppy! This is Bailey's second Best Puppy In
Show daughter and his fourth offspring to finish.

2008 IN REVIEW
The year 2008 was a good
one. We are healthy, happy and we welcomed a beautiful
daughter in-law to our family.
Our sheltie family has made
us proud again this year.
In January our veteran Ch.
Highledge Something To Talk About (Maddison) started off 2008
by winning BEST VETERAN IN SWEEPS at the first CSSA Regional
Specialty. In June she was awarded BEST OF BREED at the
Canadian Collie & Shetland Sheepdog Association Specialty and
also in June she was awarded BEST VETERAN IN ALL BREED
SWEEPS at the Ontario County Kennel Club.
In 2008 Maddison did
it ALL. At almost ten years old, she continues to amaze
us with her zest for life.

Highledge Sweet Justice. Their wins included multiple Puppy
Group wins, multiple Group Placements, a Best
Puppy In Show and a Best Puppy In Specialty Show.
On a sad note in July we
said good bye to Ch.
Highledge Idle Gossip. Idle Gossip was from one of our
first litters; is the dam of BISS Ch. Highledge
SomethingToTalkAbout and had a huge influence on our breeding
program.
In November Ch.
Highledge Irish Cream came home to stay. Three of his
puppies finish last year, BPISS
BPIS Ch. Highledge Wild Irish Rose, Ch.
Highledge Sweet Justice and BPIG Ch. Fairfax Hot on Your
Heels HT. Another daughter Shelamo Heart's Delight
is half way to her Championship at just 6 months
old. More are ready to hit the ring next year. Our
sincere thanks to the breeders who used him.
Yes 2008 was a memorable
year, and as it draws to a close, we would like to
take this time to thank everyone who made it possible. A
special thank you to Shirley Perry who always presents our
shelties so beautifully, to Bill & Judi Byrne who guided BPISS
BPIS Ch. Highledge Wild Irish Rose to a fabulous puppy career
including the New Brunswick Kennel Club's Puppy of The Year,
and to Marilyn and Chuck Smith for the the wonderful job they have
done with Ch. Highledge Savour The Memory.
We wish everyone a Merry
Christmas and a Happy New Year. May you have a Happy &
Successful 2009! Be
